Spring Imp:

As spring blossoms across the land, a new imp emerges from the archives - delicate, intricate, and unlike any we’ve seen before.

This marks the debut of our very first hand-painted imp collection, brought to life by local artist Rhiannon Wright. Based in Bardney, Lincolnshire, Rhiannon’s background in painting miniatures shines through in her attention to detail. Each of the 160 imps was individually painted by hand, making every single piece unique.

These Spring Imps are linked to the legacy of Crispin Harcourt, the famed Explorer Imp Keeper. It’s said that during one of his many adventures - perhaps in a long-lost valley or floating above alpine meadows in his hot air balloon - he encountered these rare, flower-adorned creatures.

Unlike their mischievous cousins, these imps seem gentler, more whimsical, and deeply in tune with the natural world. Some say they only appear in the first days of spring, when the breeze is just right and the scent of wildflowers fills the air.
