We are seeking a brave and skilled individual to join our team as a part-time Imp Catcher, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. This is a rare opportunity to work with the Ancient Order of Fabled Imp Catchers to capture imps, channeling their chaotic energy into tangible works of art.
Position Overview
We require an experienced Imp Catcher to assist in the delicate art of capturing and crafting imps. This role is perfect for an individual with a background in resin casting and sculpting, who thrives in a fast-paced, magical environment. The right candidate will not only aid in the containment and creation of our imps but also lead the development and capture of our rarest imp collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ specialised containment and crafting techniques to conjure high-quality imps.
- Design and execute unique, limited-edition imps from concept to completion.
- Ensure consistency and precision in all imp-related creations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative imp designs and safeguard production quality.
- Maintain the secrets of The Order by keeping an organised workspace and by following all safety enchantments and protocols.
- Manage the imp production schedule to keep up with demand while preventing any supernatural disturbances.
Who We’re Looking For:
This is not an apprentice role. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in correctly identifying and entrapping small mythological creatures.
- Proven experience in crafting techniques, particularly in moulding and casting enchanted materials.
- A keen eye for intricate details and a passion for mythical artistry.
- The ability to manage production timelines and adapt to ever-shifting mystical energies.
Position Details:
Hours: Core hours to be agreed upon, working a minimum of 20 hours per week in a part-time role, with the potential to evolve into a full-time position.
Wage: Competitive and dependent on experience (hazard pay not included for unexpected imp-related chaos).
Location: The Lincoln Imporium, 36 Steep Hill, Lincoln, LN2 1LU.
