Description
The Imp Catcher’s Quest is a mischievous, riddle-packed adventure through Lincoln’s historic Cathedral Quarter — perfect for families, curious locals, and grown-up explorers alike. Set by The Ancient Order of Fabled Imp Catchers, this self-guided trail leads you to ten magical locations, from ancient arches and statues to hidden wells and forgotten corners. At each stop, solve a clue and collect a letter — together, they reveal the secret word that proves your worth.
Children will need the help of an adult to complete the quest, but grown-ups are more than welcome to take on the challenge themselves. Most people complete the trail in 45 to 60 minutes, depending on age, walking pace, and how good you are at cracking clues!
Once you’ve finished, return to The Lincoln Imporium on Steep Hill, present your completed sheet to an Imp Catcher, and — if your answers pass inspection — you’ll receive a personalised certificate and get to rehome your very own Standard Little Imp, worth £9.
The full experience costs just £13, making it great value for a unique, hands-on adventure and a handmade keepsake to take home.
Please note: This is a click and collect only product. The trail sheet and reward must be collected in person from The Lincoln Imporium. Postal delivery is not available, as your reward is part of a magical in-store finale. Your trail will be ready to collect from our shop the next day (note that we are not open on Wednesdays).
